The Brookline Arts Center (BAC) seeks an Education & Program Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of educational programming and community partnerships while assisting with exhibitions and public events.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this role coordinates classes and workshops, supports faculty, assists in exhibition logistics, and represents BAC through community partnerships and outreach initiatives. The position plays a key role in ensuring programs run smoothly while expanding access to arts education throughout Greater Boston.
Summer Lead Teacher: Ages 5-11
The Brookline Arts Center (BAC) is seeking several Summer Lead Teachers to work with children ages 5-11 during our Summer art program. The teacher will be responsible for providing overall class goals and objectives, developing class content and curriculum and providing a loving and nurturing environment. This is a seasonal position, with the possibility to continue teaching for future sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring)
Summer Teaching Assistant: Ages 5-11
The Brookline Arts Center (BAC) is seeking Summer Teaching Assistants to work with ages 5-11 during our Summer art program. The BAC’s popular Summer art program for children blends fun with learning through a balance of structured projects, creative expression and play. We promote artistic exploration while developing technique and critical-thinking skills. Each week’s theme is explored through a variety of mediums and imaginative projects. Students have three breaks during the day to explore our beautiful park, play on the connecting playground or participate in a game with their peers. Our weekly programs culminate in a mini art show designed to showcase and celebrate each child’s artistic accomplishments.
Marketing and Communications Intern
The Brookline Arts Center (BAC) is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Intern with experience or interest in basic web editing and front-end coding to support marketing and digital initiatives during our winter and spring season. This internship is ideal for a student or emerging creative interested in arts marketing, graphic design, and maintaining web-based content for a small arts nonprofit.
The intern will work closely with BAC staff on digital and print marketing projects supporting Art Off the Wall, BAC’s annual fundraising auction, as well as promotional efforts for BAC’s Summer Residency and ongoing classes and workshops.
